#### Trezor.io/Start® - Starting Up Your Device | Trezor® <a href="#trezor.io-start-r-starting-up-your-device-or-trezor-r" id="trezor.io-start-r-starting-up-your-device-or-trezor-r"></a>

To start up your Trezor device, follow these steps:

**1. Unbox Your Trezor**

* Open the package and take out your Trezor device, USB cable, and any other included accessories.

**2. Connect Your Trezor**

* Connect your Trezor device to your computer using the provided USB cable.

**3. Go to Trezor.io/Start**

* Open your web browser and navigate to [Trezor.io/Start](https://trezor.io/start).

**4. Install Trezor Bridge**

* If prompted, download and install Trezor Bridge, which is a communication tool that allows your Trezor device to interact with your computer.

**5. Initialize Your Device**

* Follow the on-screen instructions to initialize your Trezor device. This typically involves:
* Setting up a new wallet or recovering an existing one.
* Creating a PIN for your device.
* Writing down your recovery seed (a series of words that can be used to recover your wallet if you lose access to your Trezor).

**6. Secure Your Recovery Seed**

* Write down the recovery seed on the provided recovery card.
* Store the recovery card in a safe place. Do not share it with anyone or store it digitally.

**7. Access Your Wallet**

* Once your device is set up, you can access your wallet through the Trezor web interface.
* You can now send, receive, and manage your cryptocurrencies securely.
